It is not a problem. It's just hype. The north pole has melted in the past I am sure even though we did not have satellites then. I am not clear on why we need to have the world so cold. These global warmist freaks can not stand anything that does not support thier theories. Actually when out industrial output was going up in the 70's the temp was going down. Then they wanted to raise taxes to save us from the ice age. I grew up worried about the coming ice age. I like this better.

Seriously though. I will be interested to see what happens if the North Pole does melt completely. I seem to remember that just a few years ago The global warning scientists were saying if it melted completely the Netherlands and London would be underwater.

see how smart you are Omni. Even better just stuff millions of bags with the real small styrofoam beads.

I hadn't thought of that, but the styrofoam peanuts might work if we use them along with all those white plastic shopping bags we all have laying around.
this stupid alarmist forgot that the IPCC admitted in 2008 that the world is cooling....GW=SCAM

Al gore was trying to say that all the ice in greenland and antartica would melt and raise the world see levels 23 feet. The actual amount quoted by scientists was 23 inches. Oh but 23 feet sounds so much more catastrophic. Lets just go with 23 feet. never mind the data. Stupid warmist mongers.

No it's the south pole we don't want to melt. It's above sea level and on land. But thats ok because the earth is gona flip over and we don't want to get in the way of all the water that is giong over the lands. Now who cares how to stop that?

hey Petro, I forgot to ask you what the average temperature of the Antartic is. And how many degrees the average temperature of the world would need to raise to bring the antartic above freezing. ?? this is an interesting topic.
