@Sygmus6 always need the game to boot up for x and ps.

To be honest, I like the way Nintendo does it. I'm ignorant about how it exactly works for PS3 and 360, but if you can just download your game to the console you're using, what stops you from doing it for friends' consoles? Also, new Wiis are $200, usually with one controller and game. So it's worth the repair if you've invested lots of downloaded content anyway. For everyone suggesting the SD card, it only takes save data I believe, not the games themselves.

@Brandon5l9 Actually, I do think the VC version looks better. :) I don't like that strange filtering or whatever it is they're doing there. It's cleaner yes, but not necessarily better. It no longer looks like an SNES game to me. But to each their own.

@vio2112 I play castlevania ROB on my TG16 emu and it runs 100% perfect. Maybe his is just set up badly or he has a bad rom different plugins work for different people depending on your pc.

@vio2112 Oh, and just to prove my point, check this out Brandon.
Here's the classic TG16 shooter Lords of Thunder on Virtual Console:

Now here it is on a popuar PC emulator. Note how incredibly fucked up the sound effects are here.

That is some shitty ass emulation there. The Virtual Console emulation stomps all over it.
well girl the best i can tell you is move your games to an sd card and then send in your system also nintendo rules and metroid other m is awesome stupid x play

@cb19882000 it doesn't work like that, your system won't recognize the games as yours

(this is not hate comment)
i think if you buy a 2GB sd card for the wii you can just save your games on to it. that way it wouldnt take up space on your console if you removed the card or your system crashed/gotstolen.

@ZONICvsMARIO yes, but if you got a new system, the card would not play the games
