@FFlover1994 well actually, the creators of naruto and one piece said that they were inspired by the Dragon Ball series, and naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto, used the Son Goku name for the four tails ( like the 4 stars ball, that son gohan gave to his grandson Son goku).... DB series was so great and famous that has inspired many other anime like Naruto and One Piece.... we gotta admit Dragon Ball and Goku will forever be the Kings.... but Naruto and One Piece are gr8 series too :)

@sawyer7mage the names are used to get connected to each heart of the tailed beasts to become one, as they were original to begin with, he has all of them :)
