The Vq35 in a 350z is nice and nothing really wrong with it except its expensive to mod and bad on gas, solution LS3, 6.2 is going to make up for the weight, and doesnt the Z use an electric throttle body? so does the LS3

@tyIerz06 Will never happen.... Currently the issue is weight.. Going bigger probably isn't best... The engine can't fit into the bay as is... You'd be cutting all into the bay ... i've heard the engine can't even clear the strut/shock towers...

@tyIerz06 some told me that the DOHC from the 5.0L fits on the 6.2l boss, that should be the new cobra engine. good thinking!

@super00su Easy, Ford drops in their new 6.2L V8 but with DOHC and an aluminum block and a different tune for street performance rather than for a truck. They should easily make over 500 horsepower naturally aspirated if they can get 412-444 horsepower from their naturally aspirated 5.0L. Then for a GT500 version throw a supercharger or twin-turbo's now easily over 600 horsepower. Dodge and GM just have to make some tweaks to their current engines and lose some weight and they're set.

@350gtrs You're on crack!! A mustang GT will rape a 370Z.
For comparison a BMW M3 runs 1:42.96 @ Leguna Seca and a 370Z (NISMO) runs 1:46.50 The mustang GT runs identical time as the M3 and the Mustang Boss 302 laps it @ 1:40.21

@350gtrs thats bull. the new 370z barely makes any extra HP over the 350z. its only 34 more hp and same tq.(332hp/270tq). 2011 mustang gts make 412hp and still only weighs 300more pounds than the Z.
the 350/370z's are very disapointing cars for their size, they weigh a shit ton for their size.

@350gtrs Sorry I am a Camaro guy so this hurts to say must, But the 2011 Mustang GT can almost out Run a M3 on the Track see /watch?v=uOwSPccbzl4 and the Boss Mustang not only out runs the M3 it can also out run a 2009 Audi R8 on the track.

@super00su the 370z already out comepetes Mustang GT and camaro SS give it another 2 year and it'll take out higher performance muscle cars on stock ;)
