I think this is John's "Elvis voice", at least at parts. A few decades after Paul's, but good nonetheless.

Did the other beatles really help with the vocals? If they did, when did they put those vocals on it?

In fact the "aah's" harmonies are taken from Because A Capella Version, selecting the segments in which they sing in D key (correcting pitch up to E) and the A key (which was indeed cut from "be-CAAAAUSE", but no pitch-correction in that 'cause it's already sung in A major :) A little trick but it sounds real we think, doesn't it? It was one of our most time devoted recording, glad to hear you like it :)
