Harpers Ferry flight in an R22

This is a flight from Frederick MD to Martinsburg WV. The beginning shows how blond my ex-girlfriend was - she claimed the camera was dead but had forgot to take the lens cap off. On the way back we flew down the Potomac and over Harpers Ferry. Prior to touching down at Frederick Trooper 3 is seen landing on the taxiway next to 12.

I think that is the place, those were some fun days and I never even thought Id be flying helicopters in Texas back then. Our biggest concern then was who was gonna make the next beer run...lol. thanks for the video, are you flyin that Robbie?

I usually fly recips like 300c,Bell 47, and a Hiller(before it broke) but have done a little turbine time in an Alouette II. You flyin' north or south end of the Potomac? Do you fly for FFX COUNTY? I also lived down in Arlington for some time.

Actually those are some neat helis..I'm jealous..this area is boring cuz all we have are the boring 22's..I fly 22's from Frederick MD....

I used to go tubing the rapids from one bridge down to the other bridge that headed for Harrisburg PA. Was that one of those bridges. I lived in Manassas VA.

Well the first two bridges are in Shepardstown WV..on is a CSX Rail bridge and the other is some route I can't think of off the top of my head...lot of tubers out there though - I always wanted to try that

If your ever looking for someone to fly with come pick me up, I've got plenty of time on my hands airport rd in Martinsburg. I think theres plenty of room in our front yard to land one of those.

Fredrick is beautiful country, used to visit a friend Bob Nichols up there in the 90,s. We just picked up 4 Robbie pilots from Silver State. They are having a time trying to maintain RPM(no governer) and using the trim but they'll figure it out. RPM is not near as critical as in a Robbie. Gotta love trim. No pun intended.

That message was from me about the Schwietzer, Bell, and Hiller....I guess I was babygirl last night..lol. My wife must have been on the Tube and never logged out from my laptop. She's my alter ego. Im actually taking her and the kids up tomorrow for a couple hrs. I joke her askin' her what does this switch do I wonder?
