Performing at the Australian Italian Club in Hobart on Saturday the 4th of February 2011
Described as Tasmania's Blonde King Of Rock'n'Roll Barry rose to fame as an Australian pop idiot and recording artist in the late 50's.
Barry recorded songs for Festival Records: 'You're So Square', 'The Shape I'm In', 'Baby You're So Sweet' and ' Be Bopa-lula' with Col Joy's band as backing. 'The Shape I'm In' was a hit Australia wide.
He went to the mainland and appeared as a support act for Col Joy, Lonnie Lee, Johhny O'Keefe and Cliff Richard.
He appeared on Television shows Such as 'Six O'Clock Rock' and Sing, Sing, Sing. He also hosted his own TV show in Tasmania called 'The Teenage Show'
