hi i am going to guangzhou in december to teach english. i am worried about my well being in china since it is a dictatorship...will i be ok?

it's a terrific mono culture with due respects to the minorities and due this china has a welcoming coherence in a world rapidly going mad in post marshall mcluan global village diatribe. it unlike so many other nations is a country. go for it china...terrific place....now can i have a permanent visa please!...;-)
