The whimsical chantey from the eccentric novel, "The Goddess, The Trilobite and the Rest". For those unfamiliar with the novel, this chantey is sung by an all-amateur crew. "Jennifer" is the Captain's ex-wife. Actually, the Captain has eleven ex-wives, all of whom are named Jennifer. It's a long story. Of course. It's a novel, which means it has to be 50,000 words. Needless to say, it is also an eccentric (and frequently silly) novel. It's available on Amazon Kindle for the minimum price. The tune, especially the chorus, sounds like every other sea chantey that's already been done. That's just the way it is.
