Patriotic Indian, Saare Jahan Se Accha, sung by members of the Aligarh Alumni Association of New England, AAANE,Boston at the Hatchshell Esplanade, Boston, on the 12th August 2007 for India Day organised by the Indian Association of Greater Boston.The introduction is given by Mr. Ali Rizvi, President of AAANE.

Allama Iqbal was born and died much before the creation of Pakistan. I agree that he is Pakistan's national poet. i also wish well to our neighbor, Pakistan. It is also the truth that this song was written by Allama Iqbal FOR India. It is India's unofficial national song as well.

If you are in Cambridge US, you will have noticed that AAANE is active locally in all functions by the Indian Associations. We have been and will always play a constructive role for the beterment of the commmunities that we live in and serve.

As a Kashmiri, I love India as much as I love Pakistan. I wish it never separated. I AM hopeful for it's unity. Sare Jahan se acha Hindustan hamara!!!

@Alirizvi12 Brother.. Allama was born in sialkot. It was his great grand father, who was a Kashmiri pandit, He had then embraced islam and migrated to sialkot. Both Allama's grand father and his father were devout muslims(May Allah's mercy be unto him).
