Canon City Blossom Festival Parade

Canon City, Colorado has an annual festival. Here's a parade of marching bands and some other stuff, plus my dog howling with the emergency vehicle sirens.

Wow. Wouldn't it be great if all the vehicles in this parade were equipped with miniature nuclear reactors? You would have to fuel up every sixty years. It would only be convienient if uranium were mined near by though. Don't worry. In this world of nuke cars, dogs still publicly express their feelings on public policy.

I am in the CCHS marching band and they were not on this video :( we take first in this parade EVERY YEAR lol ha ha ha ha ha YAY!! we rock!!

Yes, my band, Drinking Jeopardy performs all over the world. We march in the fields and we march in the ladies' rooms. We gots the whistles with the tweets and the drums with the booms.

They had the cars too. And 3-wheel atvs, which I don't think you can get any more. There's a picture of the mini-corvettes near the beginning of the video.
Oh, and the neighboring town (Florence) just built a new high school, and the Husky is their mascot.
