My second typography animation piece. This piece features part of a speech made by Peter Schiff called, "Why the Meltdown Should Have Surprised No One" at the Ludwig von Mises Institute, March 13, 2009. (Peter Schiff is widely credited for having predicted the housing collapse and economic downturn in advance.)
This piece was made primarily for my own enjoyment and as a means to experiment with some effects and techniques in After Effects. So some of the animation styles and transitions are "all over the place." That said, I still tried to keep it as coherent a piece as possible.
I built it over a period of a few months whenever I had spare time (an hour here, 10 minutes there, etc.) so I don't know how many cumulative hours I spent on it, but it was quite a bit. Lots of keyframing, masking, and many layers within layers (or pre-comps).
Anyway, I thought I'd go ahead and share it. I welcome useful/constructive comments and criticism. Thanks.
Very good,,,

One thing I would suggest would be to add music to this. It would certainly make this much better I believe if it were appropriately selected music, but this is still a really great video!
