WTF do we have to do with Africa? That was Europe's mess. The Europeans carved up Africa in the 19th century, while the USA was busying conquering everything between the Mississippi River and the Pacific Ocean. So, no, the United States does not owe Africa corn. Furthermore, you use the word we, but I definitely don't owe Africa anything.
I don't even use ethanol, it's bad for your car, anyways. I'm just making the point that no one is entitled to the crops that a farmer grows.

@dkrustyklown "If the American people would like to burn their corn, then they are fully within their rights to do so.
If the rest of the world doesn't like this, then they can bugger off and grow their own corn."
Since you haven't noticed, I just wanna let you know that all of Africa has been deprived of it's capability to grow anything and thus also it's access to any rain whatsoever, all thanks to the colonization period.
So, no, they can't grow their own corn, and we DO owe them our corn.

1. He was talking about bio fules produced on farms.
2. He wasn't talking about a political system.
3. Bio-fules are an alternative to fossil fuels.
4. He said its an economically good idea to produce bio-fules for third world countries.
In all regard I think your doing libel and he is most certainly within his freedom of speech.

Just a lot of talk, from another talking head
Just a little glitch, in our democracy run economies, and all this socialist, communist star salivating like babies.
Sorry.. but the only losers are you, and your "economic model" (communist misery)

The way I see it, the corn that is grown in the United States BELONGS to the United States. If the American people would like to burn their corn, then they are fully within their rights to do so.
If the rest of the world doesn't like this, then they can bugger off and grow their own corn.

Does the same logic apply to the US and its approach to oil and other resources that belong to other countries? How many invasions, coups, assasinatins, etc have been carried out by the US to "protect" its access to other people's resources?
