Here, Grant plays a real life French officer who fell in love with an American WAC; in order to return to America with her after World War II, he is classified as a "war bride".

This is a terrific date night movie if you can find it airing, liked by guys as well as girls. If you're a fan of '50s SF picture "The Thing (From Another World)", you'll see many of the same folks as actors here: Kenneth Tobey, Robert Stevenson, Robert Nichols, William Self, David McMahon, and Bill Neff.
