Keep looking for a stylist. Cause without seeing you or knowing what you do with your hair no one can really give you good enough advice. I can get almost anyone blonde.but you really have to know everything about the hair history. what do you use in it. do you have water with a lot of iron in it. Ive had dark red hair and gone white blonde highlights... But i dont use box color either. My gf is a hair stylist in NY... Shes amazing, I just dont know the name of the salon you should try her out.

or they will bleach my hair tooo much and when they put the toner in my hair it turns out grey. What is going on here? Why can't these hair stylist just give me blonde hair, I am very fair skinned and need to have a lite blonde, a cool toned blonde not a yellow brassy blonde but that's always what I end up with. And they always tell me it's my hair, that it's not behaving normally when they put color in it. I think thats just an excuse. I just want a blode color that is right for me.

I live in NY City with millions of people, how do I find the best hair stylist or colorist 4 me. I have been to quite a few and didn't like any of them, they all claimed to kmow what they are doing but they really didn't. If Im going to u for over a year and u still can't figure out how to get my hair the right blonde then something is wrong. I get excuses like "your hair is too porous" and "it takes color too fast". Thats the excuses for them making my hair too brassy and NOT the blonde I want.
