No I dont agree with people littering on your property. ANd no I wouldnt ACTUALLY take a dump on your land lol. I think that people should be held responsible for disrespecting the river. They should NOT allow much brought with on the river and should account for everyones belongings. Like they should have a log of what you bring and for everything you dont bring back you pay a fine. Thats one way they could clear up the litter. But banning tubing all together I do not agree

Plus I doubt you can own the river and if its like a street then a portion of the land up to the river is public government property. It is like if someone parked in front of my house partially on my property for say a birthday party next door or something. I couldnt make them move. They have a right to park there by law. Just like I have a right to tube down that river that YOU DONT OWN and have a picnic on its shore with my daughter whenever I damn well please. Go to a trout farm LOSER

LOL this is so funny. I cant wait to go tubing. Hey you retards hillbillys who are complaing, give me the GPS of your land on the river so I can make sure I take a HUGE shit in your backyard. Seriously, The US should just take over all this land and make it all a National Park and no private property. Thats what they should do. Its bad enough the Actual Parks belong to the United Nations now and not the US. Dont believe me, look it up. Like they said, dont like the tourists move to a better town

Just stinks people are not hospitable to honest people who just want to have fun with their family and are oblivious to the bullcrap the locals have going on in their crappy lives. I mean look...they have nothing better to do than criticize videos lol. They need to take it up with the businesses, not the customers. Dont move to a tourist town if you dont like tourists. But, again, look who were talking about.

hey dumbass, in a town where there's only about 200 people to vote in a city election, it's extremely easy to throw your money around and buy votes especially when you employ a bunch of local losers. That's how you f'n douche bag.
"Do something about it"???!!! You obviously aren't familiar with Blount County or Townsend. I may the one person who tried to do something about. Why??? dumbass
And the health Dept shut down that BBQ place you are talking about. they just re-opened. lmbo

@jwa94, be careful what you wish for. In other states when rafting and canoeing companies have been banned from using rivers, sometimes the property owners get over zealous and try to ban fishing in the rivers behind their homes too.

@spankysux, the state right of way you speak of is actually private property. I easily found this information at the Blount County Courthouse. Even if it wasn't private property it is not illegal to use a state right of way to enter or exit a navigable river. The Little River is deemed navigable all the way to Treemont.

Cool looks fun!

@TennesseeNurselady: Agreed... The little river is almost dried up this year. I we went back with some friends this year b/c it was so good last year, and we ended up walking most of the way. No fun at all. I'm sure its from the 'over-tubing' of the river.... LOL
Been living here since I was a child, nice to see someone enjoys it. Hopefully you didn't come to tube though, Cades Cove is just 20 minuets away.

@Hawks806 I'm glad we didn't offend you by visiting! lol... No, we spent a few days up there last year, & came back this year for a week. We drove all over the place & had a great time. We also did some great hikes. The area you live in is so beautiful! We took only photographs, and left only footprints.

Everybody? Jobs? That economy? The only folks making money here are the tube owners. That's the mayor who runs his little enterprise on a state right of way which is illegal.
Yes, we should all enjoy the river and it is public domain. When this tubing stuff started originally, those "tourists" didn't have enough sense to know that once you get out, you are on private property. People's back yards aren't for tubers to use the rest room and leave trash. THAT WAS THE ISSUE WITH LOCALS.

@spankysux Ummm... Call me crazy... but he's an elected official. If he's blatently illegal things for his personal gain while in office... you all should do something about that. If you all hate tubers how did he get elected in the first place?
We stopped by a roadside BBQ place two years in a row now, had some great local BBQ and shopped the local produce stand. Spent more there than tubing! LOL. Does the mayor own that too?
