It was a very hard trip to struggle my self up that snowy mountain! But it was worth it anyway.
Enjoy the scenery :)
Sadly i couldn't relocate the object i left there a few days ago...it was nearly 1 meter with snow in that area.

Have a great weekend, and happy hunting.

Best regards

Trond

  • What stunning scenery and a fabulous video "production" - a most enjoyable experience, like Michael says, extreme metal detecting - I cant imagine detecting in the snow, usually we are in hot dry conditions LOL. Thanks very much for the post and look forward to your next video. HH and GL.

  • Also, the last object that you showed looks like a fragment from a fused projectile. Have you cleaned away all of the dirt from it? It appears to have a perfect groove on the outer surface in which a copper rotating band once was located. You might be able to determine the approximate diameter of the original shell from that fragment. Then you may determine who the former owner of the shell was. The Royal Navy perhaps? Are there any archives available for you to research through?

  • Great video! Beautiful country. To me, the large depression definetly looks like some sort of impact crater. It kind of looks like it was formed more by kinetic energy than by shear explosive force. Armor piercing shot or shell? Perhaps it detonated fairly deep down in the earth. I would think that a surface explosion would not have piled up the ground around the crater in that shape. You may be able to figure out the exact direction & possible trajectory from which it came.

  • Ist schon geil zu sehen wo menschen schonmal waren wenn ich in dem wald stehen würde und was finden würde omg ich hätte gedacht das ich der erste mensch bin der da jamals war.:))

  • Hunting in the snow couldn't experience that. But very well done video, very good combined with the music and of course the hunt. Keep on doing it like this. Greetings from Berlin
