[PHP] Create a PHP Contact Form

When you go to most websites you will most likely see a contact form on their contact page. Why? Well, it is a) easier for the user, just fill in a few details and click Submit and its done and b) because it masks the email address so that visitors cannot see the address which minimizes spam.

Creating a PHP contact form isn't that hard, follow this tutorial and you will soon have your own contact form for your website or blog.

There are two parts to this, the form itself which will be inserted into a web page and an external PHP file which handles the data and sends it to the email address. Please note that you will need PHP installed on your web server in order for this to work. Most web servers do have PHP installed but its worth checking with your web hoster before spending your time on this.

well the only way to not get hacked is to have a secure thats all patched

If anyone wants a nice PHP contact email page, that is all contained on one page, with a spam guard, PM me and I'll gladly send you the code. It even puts a nice header so you can reply back to the sender easily if he puts a valid email address.
