derrick roddy wins my vote as one of the best drummers who is versitile in drumming today! if lets say you talk about the legends like steve gadd.. he is good at one type= grooving. derrick roddy is good at so many!

@rrdrums110 Watch some of George Kollias' videos on his page if you want to see a metal drummer do rudiments. His rudiments are extremely precise at high tempos... I don't even listen to metal... But there's no need to put down a good musician just because of their genre...

@DBROF i agree, if there had to be comparison on this video, there should at least be with another extreme metal drummer, but really there should be none at all.

I'd recommend ignoring rrdrums110, he spends hours every day trolling the videos of drummers he doesn't like.
Just another youtube commenter who needs to put others down to feel good about himself.
I've seen him say the same things on at least 20 different videos, just insulting people and acting like the king of drumming. People like him don't deserve any attention, although he does seem to be desperate for it.
