Police Brutality in San Jose Main Jail booking area.

Here is footage of a 71 year old man being beaten by Santa Clara County Correctional officers in the San Jose main jail on Hedding Street. You can see several correctional officers running in to get part of the action. ThisPolice Brutality is a disgrace, and unfortunately, all to common at the Main Jail in San Jose.

Thats nothing. Here in monterey the cops will take turn punching u and write a report saying resisting arrest

@Madeviets Well that happens in San Jose too and something similar happened recently where 2 officers: Patrick Lynch and Brian Williams were caught submitting a false police report regarding an illegal detention. It is not uncommon at all & happens everyday. In Santa Clara County Department of Correction, they deprive inmates of food, are said to take them for brutal "freight elevator rides" and knock their teeth out, etc. This is significant because it was caught on video & released.

I may not be perfect and ive made some mistakes but what the merge unit and VCET did to me was a disgrace and beyond a cowardly act..Ok so they think they are fighting crime right? Contradictions people look it up!!! SJPD is faulty and what goes around comes around..

@pepnutty I think SJPD has gotten a bit better under the new leadership but old habits die hard & it's going to be a tight curve for many of the dirty cops to change their ways. From this video, it looks like it was entirely perpetrated by the correctional officers at the main jail. (D.O.C. uniforms resemble S.J.P.D) and in this particular area of the jail, many officers from different jurisdictions mix and mingle together This is arrestees are passed over from the arresting agency to DOC.

@caryandrewcrittenden He obviously did, he is being fingerprinted, that is a really good sign he just got arrested and is in the process of going to the cell. Every person who is locked up loses the right to be free on the streets, he has the right to remain silent,. He has the right to speak, but he does not have the right to disrespect!!!

Maybe he shouldn't have fought with the cop when he was getting his fingerprints taken. What a crybaby ... LOL!!

I'm 69yo, BTW. Oh, and I have managed to never go to jail because I follow the rules. Also, if I ever went to jail the very last thing I would do is fight the cops. Real stooopid.
