Vintage Wedding Dresses

A short film featuring Vintage inspired bridal fashions from 14 designers across the US.
The theme of the shoot is {Vintage Design in Modern Times}. A behind the scenes short film of the lastest fashion shoot with Southern Bride.

The film was shot on location with photographers Michael Allen and Brian K Crain of www.weddingindesign.com -The team shot several thousand photographs {The editors narrowed images down to about 20 or so of the best) for the upcoming fashion spread in www.southernbride.com magazine. Michael shot some film footage on the new Canon 7d HDDSLR camera to create the short film for the magazine.

The team consisted of Southern Brides editor Lynn Walker and art director Kat Ballard. The hairfashions were created by Janice Allen of www.estonsalon.com with era styles from 1920, 1930, 1940 & 1950. Makeup was provided by Lauren Partin and Abby Baynes of Sephora in Mobile AL.

The shoot was set on an incredible vintage site near the gulf coast at The Hotel Magnolia. Dresses were provided by Joan Shum, Monique Lhuillier, Watters Bride, Allure Bridal, Mon Cheri Bridal, Maggie Sottero, Alfred Angelo, Dolly Couture, Julius Bridal, Castle Bride, Cheryl King Couture, Fashion accessories provided by Avant Bride NYC, Model Bride, & Tejani Jewelry.

Michael Allen filmed the footage on Canon's new 7D and edited the trailer with a Vintage but very modern flair. Music by Stephanie Schneiderman through Triple Scoop.
