Ah, the thorny issue of achieving exact colours, true to life, every time. "This pot is creamy white. Not azure or seashell, eggshell, ecru or ivory; it's creamy white." The ColorChecker chart is very useful. In addition to offering a perfectly neutral grey zone that allows you to achieve impeccable white balance with the click of a mouse, it also allows you to correct exposure and check colour consistency.
