we worked on this car since it was brand new. very well mantained, one owner 330k miles, and the owner traded it in on a sebring convertible. that shouldve been punishable by death of the owner, not the car

@sideslide23 the cherokee (xj body) was built from 84-2001. the wagoneer was a larger suv. there is a video on my page of us blowing up a 91 grand wagoneer final edition. i believe the cherokee was called a wagoneer when equipped with wood grain paneling on the exterior. this particular XJ was not equipped, therefore it was just a plain cherokee

That is not the only pollution we get from Obummer's program. Good vehicles are destroyed so new ones can be built. It takes energy and resources to destroy something, reduce its parts to raw material, recycle that material, and produce a new vehicle.

Will one of these new cheapo cars last 330 thousand miles, and be good for many more? Very unlikely. Then the destroy/produce cycle starts again.

Our children will be paying the environmental costs of the Obummer plan.

The owner is a complete fucking retard. A jeep cherokee with NO RUST? it looked clean as hell. and it looked like a laredo? FUCK CASH FOR CLUNKERS. they should have thought it out better, they could have sold the traded in cars to teenagers who cant afford anything but a cheap car. I happen to love cherokees, and because of this program, I might not even be able to get one. thanks obama administration.

@83RS Nope, that's a computer controlled jeep. With the IAC and the TPS on the front of the throttle body, that's a RENIX jeep. 1987 - 1990. The 4.2l would of had a carb.

had the same senario at my dealership with a 1987 K5 blazer, no rust, 2 tiny dents, super clean, one tear in the drivers seat, started beautifully, 4x4 worked great. I would have paid 10,000 dollars for it if I had the money.
