it's not that bad on this kind of panel. You remove the field wiring from the zones both legs until the led go out then, the last zone you removed is the zone in fault. it's better to have a ground fault on a CCT zone then a INT zone. If you have a ground on a INT zone it's a positive wire and then it gets worse and the other wire negative hits ground to, you get a (short) on it causing a false alarm.

lol GROUND FAULT!!!!
that's the worst kind of trouble... really hard to trace. It happens when a wire touches something it shouldnt... something earth grounded.

haha yes indeed. It had me confused for a while, but after consulting the manual, that's also how the panel indicates a battery trouble
