THE GREATEST BRAZILIAN JIUJITSU MATCH EVER!

I would first like to apologise to the NSW BJJ Federation, Bruno Panno, Liam Resnekov and Gigante.

Background: There were only three guys in my division, Elan (USA trunks) had the first fight (i was straight into the final with a bye in the first round) and Elan won his fight decisively.

The final was between Elan and I (who are very good friends and training partners), we have faught each other everyday for the last 5.5 years in the gym, so instead of a boring fake BJJ match, we did a AWESOME Pro Wrestling match.

The crowd was very pleased with our performance, but the judges and officials were not.

We were disqualified from the match, and the whole comp (we also entered the open weight class and were automatically disqualified from that).

It was unfortunate, but it happened. We apologise.

Elan and I hope you enjoy this match as much as we enjoyed performing for you!

  • glad you put this up on youtube mate. people are going to have a lot of fun watching this and debating if it was disrespectful, whether the ref was right, etc.

can't believe he still has that USA unitard, thought it would have fallen apart by now from being worn every day.

  • @dannykeat haha im just glad i never have to roll with him with that on. I refuse to.

  • lol good one, u can tell they were pissed

  • ahhh, its been months, but this still makes me laugh. Fuck all the haters! You boys are both fantastic coaches and are far from disrespectful tot he sport

  • good stuff guys, pity i missed seeing it live!

  • tis is fake....

  • vt-1 homos

  • He was disrespectful he did not shake hands at the start, he tried to show off to the audience, then he carries on after the fight was stopped. The takedown was awesome! but he could have been a little more gracious in victory.

  • I am standing in the far corner beside the entrance watching this at the time and said to a mate “If I had not seen that I would never have believed it”. I guess it’s one of those entertaining surreal things that happen at serious comps! It certainly made me smile 

  • @llai8501 how do you know he isn't wearing it under his gi?
