By special request - a quick look at the rules for takedowns and knife disarms in our UMT (Universal Martial Training) systemisation, based largely on the Kung Fu styles Taijiquan, Baguazhang & Xingyiquan and on Silat / Kuntao work. Hope it's useful.

I re-filmed some of this stuff with a bit more vigour to better show what it might look like at speed, but please bear in mind that this is still intended as an instructional demo, so it is slower and more broken down than full combat speed. If you get good at doing the techniques in a slow, sequential fashion you can gradually progress to flowing the stages together at combat speed, but for training purposes you should generally avoid moving so slow that you lose momentum or so fast that you lose quality.
