  • Please tag this video Coppa Acerbo Pescara too; this is a so rare footage...

    Coppa Acerbo was the longest track ever, even longer than Nurburgring.

    We all remember Auto Union and Bernd Rosemeyer here in Pescara;

  • @MarcioBortolotto 432 km/h :D

  • Fantastic i've added it in my favorites,,,,,,,thx.....:)

  • @hburg32 437 kph = 272 mph, with 430 kph he crashed. (30.4 hitlers end). 8,8 sekunden haha

    the record for electro mobiles is still also 272 mph

  • @MarcioBortolotto it's about 437 kph.

Respekt an unsere damaligen Autohersteller. ^^

  • @MarcioBortolotto

    It is still the fastest anybody has ever driven on public roads.

    Ok, the land speed record was higher even back then but all those records were taken on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Malcolm Campbell already did 485km/h in 1935 with his Bluebird, and by 1938 Eyston's Thunderbolt and Cobb's Railton Special both were pushing the record from 501km/h to 575km/h in just two years.

    Anyway Mercedes was designing the T80 but the war stopped the project.
