Well hello all, fancy meeting you this evening.

I guess since I never upload videos, might as well say a bit of an update.
Tag has been doing well. His breathing could be better.. but our "winter" isn't turning out to be a real winter, so I don't blame him. He is the fluffiest horse at the barn and as he has been awarded the horse with the best, and most hair at the barn (yes, certificate and all).

I can't find a cooler that actually drys him off, so I've ordered my 3rd one.. hopefully it'll work haha.
I'm in a bit of a rut. My horse jumps anything, he puts his heart into any amount of work he does - whether he likes it or not.
I wish I could be at the level I was last winter with him. I actually felt like I was riding. My position looked 100x better, I was much more confident... Tag and I were solid partners.
I'm not saying Tag and I don't work well together now because we do, but I'm not clicking like I used to. I want things to be more similar to what they used to be, then what they are now.
Other then riding, I feel super close to him. Last year, I didn't have the attachment to him like I do now. I finally feel like he's my horse, not just a lease horse like he was last year.

These clips were taken a few weeks ago. I invited one of my close friends Sam, over for the weekend and I had a bit of bonding time that got caught on camera. There are so many moments that were missed, but not all of the greats have to be on record for others to see.

As much as I complain about how much having a horse with heaves can suck, I love this little brat to the ends of the earth and back. Even if I don't have a good ride, just spending those few moments looking into his eyes, brings happiness to myself. I love him, and nothing will change that. I will do anything for him, as I know he'll do the same.
