  • I believe Bahnsen is simply criticing overall worldview outlooks. I see your point, but evolutionists almost without exception must inevitably also believe in abiogensis. This point is highlighted in the Smith debate and in the critique of that debate at the end of this course. It is also very much begging the question to say that evolution has been observed through history. As one who began sympathetically to the theory, upon investigation I don't believe it is even remotely tenable.

  • critiquing sir, Bahnsen was invincible in debate only by the Grace of God! Michael Martin a prominent atheist didn't even show for a debate against Dr Bahnsen! JESUS IS LORD!

  • I love Bahnsen's epistemological work, but I wish he wouldn't pick on scientific theories he isn't canny to.

  • @itiswritten77

    Well, being dead, right now.

But he used to teach theology and epistemology.

  • Where does dr. Bahnsen teach?

  • @jfinite As a matter of fact, evolutionists claim openly that their ideas are merely a philosophy. You can see evidence of that in everyday life. Sometimes the trees get in the way of the forest.

  • @actionjackson864 I went to that bahnsenburner blog and I really didn't see anything he was saying that made any sense. Atheist confusion I suppose.

  • @gen6k. I think the violence you make reference to in religion is called islam. Evangelism by the sword has been mastered by the muslims.

  • If you don't first assume the ultimate authority of God then you can't make sense of anything. I believe that explains clearly why atheists are so confused when they try to deal with truth.

  • @gen6k You must have ran into some really bizarre Christians if that is your view of them. That said, you're passing judgement on a whole group of people, most of whom you've never met. Does that seem very logical to you?

  • Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment,An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded. The belief in an all powerful creator that rewards the good and punishes the wicked,is both senile and childish,As there is no goodness in the human heart. But I pity you Christians for keeping your imaginary friend for 2000 years,But sigh it only cost the lives of billions of people eh.Good job I guess.
