Improve Your Posture
Chances are, you are watching this video sitting down, and chances are you spend most of your day sitting either behind a desk, or behind a wheel, or some combination of the two. Which is fine, but over time this can lead to bad posture which can lead to pain, fatigue, stiffness, and simply less ability to move among other things. Yes, in today's society we sit, we text, we stand on one hip, and we wonder why we hurt and don't feel like moving. The good news is that we can stop this from getting worse and even make our posture better. Try to sit up straight at the desk, and stand up straight when you aren't. Pull your shoulders back, and tuck your chin in so your head sits on top of your shoulders. Draw your belly button in to your spine, and try to keep a neutral pelvis. More on this subject in future episodes, but if you want to take care of yourself better, this is a great place to start!
