@omlas6 No it's not, 'Britain' is merely a term of citizenship and a current union state between four equal nations.
A British accent refers to a singular accent, where as you can't ever generalise English accents with Scottish accents with Welsh accents and Irish accents, as they all sound vastly different to each other.
The guy in this video is doing an English accent, it's not too hard to call it English is it? It certainly sounds nothing like a Scots or Welsh or N.Irish accent.

@Englanistan Actually mate, Britain is the largest island in the British isles and Europe. It is it's union with Northern Island that makes it a state in Western Europe.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Economics.

@TheBestPrevail The union benefits England, it does not benefit Scotland apart from the possibility of defence & foreign affairs, but even that so called 'benefit' is a double edged sword, as it means Scotland has to take part in illegal wars that no one wants except the US and their personal lapdog, England.
And foreign affairs, English multiculturalism has been an absolute failure, massive immigration has segregated society rather than promote inclusion & integration.
Its England own fault.

I wonder if all the people complaining about the British accent vs English accent refer to generic midwestern or southern or west coast accents as just "American" accents.
I agree that this is an English accent, not a Scottish or Irish or Welsh accent, but if you're going to nit-pick, I'm curious if you're as picky about other countries.

He does a pretty good job at it.
There is no such thing as a British accent, Britain IS NOT a country, it's a union state only. Britain union is dying out, with time.
Most of Englands wealth came from colonising ad stealing from other Nations, Cultures & peoples ect.
That is an English accent on this video.
