Under the pseudonym of Larry W. Furey, Lourens Fourie made the cross over to the country music genre
in the early 2000's and has up to date scored a numer of single digit hits on the Official South African Country Music Hit Parade. His version of the Tracy Lawrence song, Texas Tornado, peaked at #7 in 2006. This was
his most recent chart entry to date (February 2009).
