  • The PAL version of Aladdin doesn't actually play and sound that slow in PAL 50Hz.

  • @Adam060756

This *IS* PAL Aladdin on PAL Megadrive.

  • You should delete this video or update it. It isn't showing the truth. Aladdin was released with DIFFERENT pcb carts for the PAL and NTSC versions. In order to show the difference you must own both the PAL and NTSC cartridge. Run the PAL cartridge in 50hz and the NTSC cartridge in 60hz. The music is the same for both, but the gameplay is 20% faster in the NTSC cartridge (at 60hz) as well as fullscreen graphics for the NTSC cartridge. I can make a video reply if you want.

  • I like 50hz better, it sounds a lot better.

  • @openshiny Well mine is PAL too on a PAL Mega Drive but the music is faster than that.

Maybe you had it running at forced PAL 50Hz instead of the optimized PAL 50Hz speed. That occasionally happens with 50Hz/60Hz mods.

  • yup, our pal version sucks and i hate the borders too
