What a pity Hasse is so neglected. Thanks to Koopman, thanks toThrax1982 for giving him evidence! It' s very interesting his style: different from the true barocque and not yet classic

Well, when you wrote "it has been a while" I thought I have been rude.

Simple YouTube search? That's why this time your answer is so quick :)
With my cell, I can't do simple YouTube search :( In the morning I will try!
Then again, I saw his name in Japanese spelling too, everywhere!
Sometimes I keep wrong data. For eg. before your uploading I thought
'Julio Ascanio' was correct... Voila :)
Anyway, thank you :)

Simple Youtube search would have been enough,
there's more than 1000 videos with him around here :P

Hi ThraX: I just found two old cassettes with L'eroe cinese which I taped from Dutch radio way back in 1985, and it was a delight to hear the whole opera again. Do you know if Koopman's production was ever released on CD? It's such a lovely opera, but my tape is now 25 yrs old and worn out! My favorite aria is "Da quel sembianti appresi" by Mieke van der Sluis.
