  • Do you know if Pete Rock really did this track for sure beatjunkies? I always hear that Spunk Bigga did it and then people say Pete Rock did it. Sounds like a pr track but IDK

  • @DigginInTheCrates1 fact is this is only a alternate mix and not a remix (i changed that info)...cause the other version (produced by eddie f) sounds almost like this one.....spunk produced the track on the b-side of the original 12"...but not any mix of groove on....peace

  • Are these cats still alive ?

  • @Datdeal2007 Whether you or Pete, its not like its gonna make me love it any less. This is some hot shit. Lemme know though!

  • @Datdeal2007 Pete loves this sample so much he's used it 2 other times. If I heard an instrumental I would know for sure since there was never one commercially released back in 95 when Pete first played this track on Future Flavas. Once again Im not saying it's false but I just can't picture Pete (when he was really banging out joints like crazy around that time) would be relegated to just adlibs on a beat that sounds exactly like something he did anyway.

  • @Datdeal2007 - Why don't you up an instrumental then brother? Not that you have anything to prove to anyone and no disrespect but the reason me and everybody else would say this is a Pete Rock production is because...well, it sounds like a Pete Rock production and I'm not just saying it because he's on the adlibs. I've been listening to Pete music from day one so as he progressed you learn his stuff. You hear the crispness of the drums, the basslines and you that's his signature.
