Living in Mexico's Sierra Madre mountain range, the Raramuri Indians are some of the best long distance runners in the world, but how far can they run in the face of problems like environmental damage, loss of native lands, and the drug war? An American ultra marathon runner known as Caballo Blanco is fighting to help the Raramuri preserve their culture and tradition of long distance running. The Copper Canyon Ultra Marathon is the result.

I agree with your comments. This sick punk 99 cacahuate(caca for short. haha!)isn't even Mexican. He's just a busybody sticking his nose where it don't belong. I'm very grateful and humbled that non-Mexicans are helping my people.

Mr. Harlan is ignorant in the extreme. He wins in a race that is a sprint distance for the Raramuri. Let's see how he would do in a 48+ hour race, which is typical for the Raramuri.

This was beautiful, very beautiful culture and people. I had tears in my eyes just seeing the love and humility that these people live with. It is definitely inspirational.

Oh the amount of pride exuded from Mr. Harlan's victory speech when he mentioned the "fancy" gears he had. Body language doesn't lie, and his body was saying "I am better, I am rich". Nor did he show any humility or respect to the great tarahumara runners. I don't think he's "better" in anyway whatsoever.
