I have tried to get set up with Zippcast but I can,t seem to get them to send the activation email. Have tried four times now. Hope they get this worked out soon.

@DuhEnlightenedOne I like YouTube just fine but I don't really care for this new interface. I'm not closing this channel. I'll still use it just as much. ZippCast looks better at this point, I want to see how it will be over time. maybe it will be better, maybe it won't. I'd never know if I didn't try it. just letting people know that they do have a choice.

@DuhEnlightenedOne YT needs a good healthy dose of competition to make sure it listens to it's patrons. As of late, they have done pretty much what they want to and taken control of too much. It once was a whole lot freer place than we have today.

Curious, have you heard of FatalErrorNetwork? Their formats different but easier/faster to upload videos. We do need other interface sites besides YT. As you've mentioned previously via another video, we just need those who have the know-how & ins/outs of the airways who have the expertise to get the job accomplished & give the YT conglomerates a good run for their $. YouTube's community is already disappearing. One by one I'll look through my favorites and see videos that've been taken down.

@Herfortz Phase 3 would then be to announce to the general public (Not to the remaining community) that they have now upgraded their servers and now you can watch live broadcasts on where Lady Gaga takes her dog to get manicured courtesy of your friends VEVO and then the remaining community members like Rebecca Black can stay as long as they pay their rent. I'm more peeved that sites like Vimeo aren't jumping on the bandwagon and saying "Yeah, come to us" and work some sweat like Zippcast.

I think Youtube changed the formats for the community so they would be pissed off and leave and that would free up space for them to implement the changes that will conducive to what they are looking at their site to be in the future. I think Phase 2 down the road will be an apology that their servers can no longer keep up to all the up loaders and will be forced to delete accounts which of course would start with the smaller ones and work their way up to the smaller Youtube partners..........

ZippCast is site where i am refugee from this shitty Google Tube. I will not log in after 1 March. NEVER again. Yes, ZippCast is slow and that's annoying now but i will give them chance. Better that then be humiliated here. FUCK GOOGLE!
