@olddogpark Current drug education has almost no substantial effect on getting kids to stop using drugs. Marijuana legalization has support from doctors, lawmakers, law enforcement, and scholars. Lastly, once marijuana prohibition is repealed, we will see a lessening and eventually a dramatic decrease in cartel violence, just as we saw in the 1920's and 30's once alcohol prohibition was repealed.

@CypherCinema The best way to keep our kids off drugs is to require that a license or ID be used to buy it, instead of hoping that drug dealers have the courtesy to avoid playgrounds. Marijuana can cure or alleviate the symptoms of over 200 illnesses, more than any other drug on the planet. Marijuana is not addictive, does not kill brain cells, and may in fact help to starve cancer cells by making them devour themselves in a process called autophagy.

It takes a real tough guy to arrest someone for smoking weed.
Yes, the law is being broken, but it's still up to the discretion of the officer to arrest/cite the offender. People being arrested for simple possession are being arrested by the cops that got picked on in high school and just can't wait to get back at people. Kind of like the Harley riders in South Park.
Pathetic douchebags, I hope one of their family members get arrested for smoking weed, then see if they still think it's right.
