    Favourite song of theirs! I remember in the late 80's listening to this song over and over whilst listening to 92 Degrees over & over....

    haunting.

    @considerablymore1,

    Can I send you my top 25 S&TB cd tune list that I'm putting together and let me know what I should consider adding, for I just found out on Sick Child, Premature Burial and Drod Dead/Celebration - which as I think and see as the Pre- 1981 stuff period....I got down all my other 1981-1993 stuff down of hers, but these three I just found and feel I'm missing more. Yes?

    Its a question of what stage you discovered the Banshees. I love this album and Peep Show. Great, powerful songs. However there is no question in my mind (or Sioux's) that McGeogh was by far and away their most talented and creative guitarist. Tinderbox and Peepshow are much more polished and formulaic than any of McGeogh's work. A mention should also go to Steve Jones's work on Kaleidescope and I haven't even begun to mention John McKay. The Banshees are just fucking brilliant - period!

    Without question it's Carruthers. He made some of their most complex pieces and honestly his talent resonates throughout the entire album. I love Klein's mannerisms and his character (because he is just that) but I don't feel like he brought much technicality to the Banshees.

    Ha ha ha ha ha!

    Think it's the other way round actually. Robert always wanted to sound and even look like Siouxsie after he supported them on Join Hands Tour back in 1979 ;-)
