@bindlessMoredom power companies dont pay you.. thats why I'm never going to buy anything from them. FREE installl but they dont tell you it WILL take 15 years to cover JUST the cost of the panels and Instalation... meanwhile you get FREE power what would normally cost you 20 cent per kilowatt.. :-\
think about it whos the one with the larger gain.
I'll go off the grid before I buy that load, I've already done the math..and it always comes out you < THEM

well.. the solar cells wil fry too.. cells cant generate OVER what normal good ole sun can (without overheating them) mirror to get the maximum ammount of light if you dont have it in the first place = good (thats why they have those motorized sun trackers to keep panels pointing at the sun..

@SilvaDreams I don't know what to tell ya bud. I'm a retired journeyman High Voltage electrician and that was my first and only solar installation. Can't recall ever seeing a manufacturers name on the panel. The only load was a few lights and a couple of ceiling fans. They had to use a generator to operate the washing machine. However,they did have a solar clothes dryer.

This is real and works well, BUT! you need to monitor you panel temp and have a water jacket on back for cooling. This will give you free hot water as well.
The Panels are set in resin under glass, it does not like being cooked! it will go milky and destroy you panel and the heat reduces output anyway.
To do it properly its called "Co Generation"

It should be pointed out that panels become less efficient the hotter they become. Check out Mirror PV systems, alot more power but require intricate cooling systems to stop panel failure.
