Questions About Scientology v1.1

Questions about Scientology, answered indirectly by the writings and teachings of founder and "Dianetics" author, L. Ron Hubbard. I thought it'd be interesting to get the founders' word on certain issues rather than defer to official church P.R. All answers are in his published words, not my own conjecture.

Featured soundtrack, "Down Low" by Mr. Epic, courtesy of http://magnatune.com/ under the Creative Commons license. I release this clip to you under the same terms. Share, remix, enjoy.

  • I took it to mean he's insinuating that the God of Judeo-Christian religion is really just a wildman who lives in the wilderness. Conceivably he could be talking about the ark of the covenant I suppose, but in either case I have no idea where he got the idea that the Hebrew God lives in there, or where the leopard skin comes in.

  • Do you have any more information on when/where the the voice recordings came from in regards to Xenu? Would be good to note in case you get criticism from Co$ folks.

  • Thanks for the feedback. I don't think anybody (in CoS or out) really doubts that's L. Ron's voice. He has a very distinct mannerism, and these materials are well circulated. That said, he did so many lectures in the early 1950's when Dianetics was hot off the presses that it's hard to keep track of them all. I'm still trying to figure out which lecture those clips came from; as soon as I find out, I'll add that bibliographical data to the info section of this video.

  • what a wacky nut job. unless of course he is trying to sound that way. it's almost impossible to believe that he believed that people would believe him (phew!) and he can't pronounce things correctly...hmmm?

  • Yah Wah, the fat idiot means YHWH ( יַהְוֶה,)

Yahweh is the English rendering of יַהְוֶה,, it means lord. It is also translated into Jehovah (gods name, but the christians wont tell you that) xD
