Pfft. Unless they are single atom transistors, I am not impressed.
Look for 'Tiny transistor' from UNSW on YTube

thanks! the meat of the presentation starts at 3:16!
This means whatever I learnt about transistors way back is just now becoming OBSOLETE with tri gate 3D.
Just like what i learnt about atoms: electrons protons neutrons is now considered dead knowledge now with particle phsyicists smoking strange substances and coming up with 32 different "elementary" particles.....

Show a 32 nm trigate and it's advantages over planar 32 nm process.

AMD made that shrink ray

Thanks for a simple explanation !
Intel FTW

Question: Paul Otellini said Intel's mobile CPU center point would be going from 35W with Sandy Bridge down to 10-15W. Now that Ivy Bridge is at 22nm with these trigate transistors why is the center point still 35W on the recently leaked roadmaps? Are these trigate transistors implemented across the entire CPU or only certain parts? How do you explain going from 10-15W claims to 35W reality?

Did they ask for anyone who had no charisma or presenting ability? if so, ding ding ding ding we have a winner! lol

The coolest thing I've every seen in possibly the worst video every made
Deep Blue was a chess-playing computer developed by IBM. On May 11, 1997, the machine won a six-game match by two wins to one with three draws against world champion Garry Kasparov
In 2013 the "Sequoia" supercomputer with computing power of 20PFLOPS was built - the processing equivalent to human brain.
2025 -first human brain real-time simulation becomes reality
By 2029 machines became selfaware and in 29 Aug. 2045 technological "singularity" occured. It was the day the whole world went away.
