On March 29, 2000, Benny Hinn made a major revelatory announcement on his television broadcast, "This Is Your Day." According to Pastor Benny, the Lord had revealed to him, through the "prophet" Ruth Heflin, that Jesus was going to appear bodily at one of his crusades. The timeline for this remarkable event was sometime in the "next few months."

More than 10 years later, we're still waiting to see it happen.

  • LOL. I don't know, DIBBY40. But he has changed his hairstyle over the years and this video is 10 years old.

  • @Younggb: Do I understand your position to be that Benny Hinn is a man of God? If that is, indeed, your view, could you explain how a man of God can prophesy falsely and still be considered a biblical leader in the church? That's really the crux of the issue here, so if you can furnish an explanation I'm open to hearing you out.

For the record, I absolutely do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I'm unclear as to where you arrived at the conclusion that I believe otherwise.

  • He'll deceive people as long as they want to entertain a false and magical view of God, with Benny in the spotlight as "God's anointed." It really is sad. And Steve Brock is a Church of God minister - he should know better than to go along with this nonsense.

  • @TheSunShinesbyGrace, Did you know that (1) Benny Hinn also said that he revisits Kathryn Khulman's grave often for a fresh annointing. (2) Benny hinn has said that God has a feminine side to him (3) Benny Hinn also said that men are little gods. He says say that you are one. Dont say i am like one, say i am one.

  • When the bible said, that when two and more are gathered in his name there he will be in their midst. This does not mean that you will be able to see Jesus Physically appear. Yes Jesus may be their in the midst, but this does not mean that you will be able to see Jesus in bodily form. Also, i have a big PROBLEM WITH THIS BECAUSE IT IS A REOCCURENT thing. Jesus will not be visible in bodily form in various places. Now keep in mind i am not talking about many many years ago.

  • @TheSunShinesbyGrace It's unbiblical to reject a leader for getting one thing wrong or something not coming to pass. Prophecy is not as simple as declaring it and it definately happening. We have to fight for what was spoken over us to be fulfilled. 1 Tim. 1:18 says, "Timothy, my son, I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight." There are much surer grounds for accepting or rejecting leaders in the NT.

  • @tnphotographer Hey. A great question. My response has nothing to do with Benny Hinn, I just wanted to answer your question. A shift took place in prophecy in the New Testament. We are no longer under the Old (that is not to say it is not useful for teaching). NT prophecy was not infallible but had to be judged by others (1 Cor 14:29) was sometimes a mixture of good and bad (1 Thess 5:21) and was such that it could even be despised - presumably because of its eccentricity (1 Thess 5:20).

  • @Y0UNGGB .. you're right, I'm sick of crap too. I'm sick of the false prophecy, heresy and stupidity that pours out from people saying they speak in the name of God. That's what I'm sick of. That includes Benny Hinn and his trible of Faith teaching liars. I'm also sick of people who lift this steaming pile of awful offal up as "the anointing" .. Be careful and read what happened to Ananias and Sapphira in the book of Acts. Oh, wait, God doesn't slay liars immediately just now ..

  • @tnphotographer

Maybe he should start rocking a mullet.

  • Uh, yeah.....and the rapture will come on May 21 which is like a week away. These kinds of jokers make the real followers of Christ look really bad. They are the worst kind of false prophets.

  • The Bible makes it clear that Christ will not appear physically until the "Second Coming." According to the Holy Bible Benny Hinn is a false prophet.
