The Curious Mechanism, Part 3 - The Life Clock WIP

After five months of tinkering, blood sweat and tears (okay, maybe not tears) I finished my crazy project. This video reveals what the "curious little mechanism" really is: an opening pocket watch from Chrono Crusade. The supply list is long, but includes brass tube and sheet, cardboard, JB Weld and Kneadatite epoxies, springs, a Bubbletape container and the top of two milk jugs.

The final project is temperamental and may not last.

Another question, did you get the instructions from somewhere or did you do your own instructions for it...if that made sense...

@IkaeYokohama2 Oh man, if I had instructions for this it would be so much easier. No, I had to figure out how to build it myself. There was a LOT of trail and error, but the challenge was why I did it. I wanted to see if I could do it.

@IkaeYokohama2 You know, I actually don't know. I still have the final vid to put up. ^^; But I gave the final product to a friend who would give it a better home than a dresser drawer, like it would eventually end up if I kept it. Honestly I'm a little afraid to ask, since it is fragile and just to work it it has to be roughly handled. XD;
