Setsuka Tutorial

Since she´s not the easiest character to use and there´re still a lot of questions being asked about her execution and JF Umbrella in her combos, we (a friend of mine and me) made a short video.

The combos/JFs shown in this video are:

CH 4A 33B 2143B:B A+KB 2143aB (just a little flashy stuff^^)

This is not supposed to be a flashy combo video but a little help for all of who´re having trouble with her or who want to learn her.

@agentlsk That´s your opinion. With enough practice, none of the SC IV combos are hard. It´s just that the majority of players have to find out WHEN to buffer or input the commands. The rest is just plain simple and constant training.

But they´re quite hard to do constantely in serious matches since mindgame and pressure is also involved. Overall, Setsuka is one of the hardest characters beside Yoshimitsu, Ivy and Cervantes.

setsuka is just awful, her attacks are weak. Yoshimitzu is the better samurai

Your comment is useless, it makes no sense. Communication with depht is the better way of talk.

Do you know anything about her? Her bnb combos are mostly 60+ damage with a great throw-game for a character who isn´t based on throws. Have you ever faced her awesome post-GI game with either 1B:B or B+K in a serious match? She also deals the most Soul Gauge damage together with Sophitia, Ivy and Voldo.

so i mean i play on an HDTV..i didn't know that that spoils the thing. sorry. haha..i don't know my game talk. but i mean idk. i guess i just need to practice. i know i'm getting there. but eeh. i can do it. if i made hilde my main i think i can get setsuka down a little. haha. she's awesome and you're awesome with her. i guess u need speedy fingers to use her.

@mochababy1990 Thanks for the kind words, but I´m only good with her execution wise. This was recorded at my friend´s home, I´m playing on an HDTV most of the time as well. It´s just getting ugly if you have to switch constantely between TVs since that´s what´s keeping your execution down. But beware, Hilde isn´t that complicated as she might seem to be at first look. Keep sticking with Setsuka and spread the Umbrella cult :P

You are a beast! I'm trying to hard to learn these just frames and combos, but I'm on the verge of giving up. Setsuka is beyond frustrating for me lol

@Badbro95 Lol what? Setsuka is probably the best character in offline tournaments, and the hardest to use. She has a ton of non shakeable stuns, her attacks are very difficult to punish, her 2143 aB punishes RIDICULOUSLY well, she has awesome tech traps, can RO so many different ways. Tell any soul calibur tournament player that setsuka sucks and they'll laugh in your face

Play Sets with a bunch of friends. She reminds me so much of Akira of VF. Hard but very satisfying character to play.

Quick question: can you 2143 w/o doing the entire grab and flip part. I'm just asking so I can break it down in smaller parts. I already knew how to do the grab and flip so that's not the issue.
