normaly when you do 8k u usaly use the numpad (or the numbers on the keyboard) to hit the slated arrows (7 is upleft, 9 is upright, 1 is downleft and 3 is downright) as for chancing, well you got to press the delete button to activate chance. When chancing, and red arrows you see (you see them when you reach level 6 on the dance mode) you have to hit the opposite arrows that the red one shows (Example Red left arrow hit right, up red arrow hit down and so on) you get more points when you chance.
