he didnt abuse him. he just scored on that play cause he was taller. bobby hurley was one of the best defenders and PGs in college basketball history.

Yeah, Thompson scored on that play because he was being guarded by a shorter, slower, less athletic and less experienced player. You might wanna watch the play again, it started out near mid-court with Hurley between Thompson and the basket, and ended with Thompson beating Hurley off the dribble and going around him with a nice spin move for an easy 2, it's not like he was posted up 5 feet from the basket.

Thank you for this. I have always said that Stevie Thompson abused Bobby Hurley when they played that game, but I'm one of the few that remember it. Killed him all game long.

yeah but they stillr efer to this season as the 2011 season.and duke is the 2010 champs thats why they call duke the defending champs now cause 2010 season is over.

haha.i have a bigger college basketball collection than you do fool.and i can prove it posting all my games here on youtube.i have quite a few on here as it is.but i will post alot more to show you how stupid you are for saying i ont know anything about college basketball.and the season is considered 2011.not 2010 since they only play about a months worth of games in 2010 u fool.

@jayfey77 People who actually know anything about college basketball would know it as the 89-90 season, just as this coming season would be called the 2010-2011 season. Now run along to the ACC's official website and have a look at the lineup for the 2010 ACC/BIG 10 CHALLENGE (the actual words on the site).

this is from the 90 season though.id hardly call playing in december 89 the 89 season.it wasnt.

@jayfey77 or that Bobby Hurley was the 7th pick in the 1993 NBA draft (not hard to look up). From that fact, simple math could tell you his freshman year was 89-90.
