Ironicaly they messed up when they highlighted the Phoenician, and they incorrectly spelled it "BtnDwd."
The Stone itself reads, "bytDwd", the same meaning as Beth-Dawid, or "House Dawid."

How can anyone claim that King David was fictional? That would make King Solomon his son, also fictional - not to mention the prophecies saying the Messiah will come from the House of David.

Jacobovici isn't actually a archeologist, he is a journalist. he has no training in archeology, never has actually claimed too have any. he has a miss leading title to his show, which im sure is miss leading on purpose.

Dawid was and still is a common name in the Near Easr. Beth Dawid (or Dawood) could be in reference to anyone. To state that this is about King David of the Bible is pure sensationalism.

It's Simcha Jacobovici, he is an Israeli archaeologist, and highly dismissed by his academic circle for tampering results to fit his own agenda. He is famous for the show "The naked archaeologist"
Simcha Jacobovici made himself more of a clown, then ever before, when he did the Jesus Tomb, money-making farce of a documentary. In this light, he should not talk about the House of David. People laugh him off.

I forgot this guys name. He isn't bright at all. All of the historians in Israel laughed at him for claiming that Princess Jezebel was a whore. But in fact she wasn't. She is the great aunt of Elissar who founded Carthage.
