  • I was four years old when we abandoned Plymouth I miss it so much I've never felt the same, I don't have a place I can call home :( thank you for this video

  • I was in Plymouth when it was abandoned, I was just four years old. We were living with a family there, and it was one of the most scary moments in my life. I'm saddened and taken back to my younger days.

  • Devastated - not "devistated".

  • love the 80s videos

  • You Should go Sean! Its Beautiful! I was there in 2004. Real shame about the 19 people killed and about Plymouth. I recall someone saying that they had the pain of losing the people and a different sort of pain losing the town . The person I spoke to said they stood on a hill along with a crowd of others and watched it burn. We did a round island taxi-tour which included Plymouth. It was raining and we managed to outrun a lahar! Fantastic stuff!

  • I was once told the people of Montserrat are the most friendliest people in the world. I thought they must have Irish blood in their veins I want to go there!

  • This brings back so many memories from when I first visited Montserrat in 1990 with my parents. We stayed outside of Plymouth near Bransby's Point and at night looked to the south to the lights of Plymouth. trips into Plymouth and visiting Sea Isle Cottons and the Sugar Mill near the pier. I remember the work to build up the pier after Hurricane Hugo's destruction. My first Mountain Chicken was at The Iguana Restaurant; having Goatwater at the Attic, Pumpkin Soup at the Emerald. I miss it all
