1988 - After D.R.A.M.A.

Sometime during Jr. High Ministry at South Hills Community Church, Becky Lee and I ran a drama group. It stood for something like "Disciples Revealing Another Message Through Acting." Corny, yes. But, looking back, we did some great sketches (see "5 Ways to Sell a Vacuum Cleaner" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fi94hgaEWY as an example) and had a great place for middle school kids to be on a Sunday afternoon. Without any formal training we ran them through the paces of imrpov, scene work, and play.

This video is one that was taken at the end of one of those Sunday afternoon practices. I LOVE this one because it catches us in those moments of just being fun and real. This is over 20 years ago which is quite amazing to ponder.
